The scope of the team’s activities in this area includes consulting and construction-technology analyses. They usually concern newly designed and marketed innovative industry products. Projects in which we participate are often carried out under EU funding such as : startups or research and development (R&D) projects.

We can creatively develop, help obtain funding and implement your idea or, based on your current business profile, develop optimisation solutions for the implementation of which you will receive a grant. On the basis of the analyses performed, we actively participate in every stage of the respective project, from guiding the development of the idea, through revisions to the proposal, prototyping (MVP) and implementation of the idea into production. In addition, the advisory and verification processes take into account the current EU directives and norms to which the projects in question are subject, as well as verification of their innovative potential.

ANALYSIS OF POTENTIAL
AND ACTIVISATION

Once we have familiarised ourselves with the idea (descriptions, sketches, planned functionalities, introduction needs, etc.), we conduct a multithreaded analysis and determine the scope of work and resources necessary to activate the solution. Based on the analysis, the individual characteristics of the solution, the chance of its legal protection and the originator’s plans, we estimate the costs of the project and determine the potential possibilities of obtaining funding. The findings and conclusions from these analyses are then used extensively, e.g. in the process of creating a funding application, defining the development direction and presenting the solution to interested.

TECHNICAL OPTIMISATION AND TESTING

At each stage, from initial analyses, through pre-prototyping, design and MVP (minimum viable product) execution, to the final product form, we provide comprehensive construction and technological support. This way of working enables a gradual optimisation of the solution, adapted to the current stage of development of the idea, the requirements of the subsidising institution and the preferences and expectations of the originator. During the design process, we prepare all 3D models, FEM strength simulations, analyses of mechanism movements and traditional flat technical documentation. On the basis of the completed design, we produce successive iterations of the product, which are then subjected to multifaceted verification and testing together with the customer. We implement the conclusions of these tests in the next variant of the solution – until we have a production version of the product.

OBTAINING A FUNDING

The services we offer also include support in the process of obtaining funding for the implementation of an idea. The team’s activities in this area, in addition to determining the institution and method of obtaining a grant, cover a number of key issues for the success of the project. These include above all: substantive technical support, co-creation of documentation (applications, appendices, studies, analyses, etc.) and preparation of pre-prototypes and demonstrators for the practical presentation of the solution. We constantly cooperate with specialists in the field of EU funds (knowledge of currently implemented programmes), project settlement and operation of dedicated IT systems.

LEGAL PROTECTION
AND COMMERCIALISATION

We cooperate on an ongoing basis with a patent office, which will check patent databases and prepare a state-of-the-art report (assess the innovative potential of the idea and determine the possibilities for its protection). On this basis, it will present the optimum form of protection for the solution (patent, utility model, industrial design or trademark) and conduct the process of claiming the idea. The development and optimisation processes we carry out are aligned with EU directives and harmonised standards – the product under development is compliant and there are no contraindications to launching it on the EU market. We also produce complete product documentation (risk analyses, operating/assembly instructions, diagrams, etc.), which, combined with the product’s compliance with the relevant standards, allows us to draw up a declaration of conformity and obtain the CE mark – necessary for the product to be placed on the EU market.
